If I lived in Florida, I would be pissed.....
Sun Jan 27, 2008 at 11:48:58 AM PDT
So I once lived in Florida. In Ft. Lauderdale and I went all my school years there.
It was during that time that I formed my Democratic beliefs and became interested in politics. I know Florida. I have all my college friends in Florida and they are also very political and involved in the Democratic Party. They are not happy having been excluded by the DNC of their delegate votes.
I am voting for Edwards when I vote. That is assuming he will still be running because I live in Pennsylvania and do not get to vote in a Primary until April 22, 2008. Yep, that is right. It will be all over but the shouting. I did not see the DNC getting upset because I do not get a fair shake at choosing a candidate.

Good News Is Our Way of Life-Bad News Is The Exception
Sun Mar 26, 2006 at 10:53:54 AM PDT
I awoke this morning thinking about how the POTUS was chastising the public and the Press the other day for not caring about the good news in Iraq. Whoaaaaaaaa. Back up a minute. I like hearing the good news. We were told that the Iraqi people would welcome us with open arms and flowers. This is what we expected and that is what we expect. We expected all would go smoothly and all we would hear is good news. We expected schools to be built and Iraq to be left a free nation standing on it's own. Americans always hope for the best. It is when that expectation does not happen.
A child playing around in a back yard is good news. We expect the child to be happy and enjoy her frolicking. When the child falls down a well, that is bad news and leaves us all fearing together for her rescue. When the child is saved, that is good news and we rejoice. The bad news AND the good news were reported.

Good Comparison Rummy-Germany & Iraq. Fuckless
Sun Mar 19, 2006 at 09:14:35 AM PDT
BTW, Fuckless is my new word to replace clueless. They are clueless and every time they make a clueless statement, we are fucked. Woe de me!
Rummy said this today:
"Turning our backs on postwar Iraq today would be the modern equivalent of handing postwar Germany back to the Nazis," he wrote in an essay in The Washington Post.
Now, let's just do a little comparison on this statement. Shall we....
Germany was a defeated country. Iraq was a country with a defeated leader.
We had a PLAN..The Marshall Plan. In Iraq, no plan.
No one was still fighting us in Germany after they surrendered. No one really surrendered in Iraq.
MSNBC Poll: Timetable for Withdrawal or Not?
Tue Nov 15, 2005 at 09:22:11 AM PDT
Today's question over on MSNBC is:
Should a timetable be set for the withdrawal of U.S. troops in Iraq?
My vote was yes. Yet last night on the Cobert Report, former Senator Bob Kerry was saying that we should not and that it sends a sign of weakness. The Bush administration says that the insurgents would then know when we were leaving and all hell would break out after we were gone, or something to that effect.
So as I am thinking about this question past the vote that I cast, I am wondering about a possible good scenerio of results.

Friday Night Chuckles, What do you wear when you're here? w/ poll
Fri Aug 12, 2005 at 06:59:10 PM PDT
So it is Friday night and Georgia10 is so bored she wants diet tips. :) So this leads me to believe I can get away without a political diary. I hope. I am pissed about everything that is happening from this administration and so maybe I need a good chuckle. How 'bout you?
People, who I am sure are jealous, often refer to bloggers as sitting in our underwear at our computers. Can this be true?

Privacy? Are U in this Free Search Site???
Wed Jul 06, 2005 at 10:42:41 AM PDT
The site:
http://www.zabasearch.com
I like to call this a FYI diary. I know it has been mentioned in DailyKos comments.
The reason I am highlighting THIS particular people search site is that it gives my birthday out and they even got that wrong. :) OK, they made me younger, but I am a Virgo, damn it. And proud of it!!
I am also listed 3 times with old addresses I use to own along with my current abode and phone number.
To use or correct, after the turn
Where is our Outrage Over Gas Prices?????
Tue Apr 05, 2005 at 05:54:44 PM PDT
In the past, every time gas prices started rising and went up more than 30 cents, the American public would go crazy and be demanding something be done about the cost of gasoline. Within a month or two prices would be lowered. Now the price of gas is going up daily at 2-5 cents and is based upon the price per barrel. But, they are selling you gas from their storage tanks that costs them a lot less. Why isn't the cost of gasoline based upon what the station owner actually paid for it at the time? Then, when the price of oil drops, they take their good old time slowly reducing the cost of gasoline.
